Athens International Tourism & Culture Expo is a platform for promoting Greek tourism internationally. It strives to support incoming tourism every year. The exhibition provides a unique opportunity for all participants to expand their contacts, establish new businesses, and explore new destinations in Greece.

The exhibition will showcase all sectors of the tourism industry as well as Greek destinations with the aim of Exhibitors, Hosted Buyers and professional visitors to proceed with new profitable commercial agreements. In 2023, during the B2B meetings, a significant number of commercial agreements were made between Exhibitors and Hosted Buyers, which sealed the success of the Exhibition.

DAY 1

LUXURY & MICE TOURISM CONFERENCE

The first Day of the Exhibition will be dedicated to the MICE and Luxury tourism sector. Conferences, business trips, incentive trips as well as high economic level tourism and their development perspective, will be some of the topics that will be developed at the Conference.

DAY 2

YACHTING & CRUISING CONFERENCE

Yachting & Cruising tourism is one of the most dynamic sector of modern tourism. The Conference will analyze issues for the promotion and development of maritime tourism in Greece.

The Hosted Buyers Program

In the last 10 years, the Exhibition has hosted more than 1600 international offices from 100 countries from all tourism sectors, Leisure, MICE, Luxury, while it is noteworthy that a percentage of over 70% has proceeded to commercial agreements with the Exhibitors. Regarding the Hosted Buyers participating at the Exhibition, it is worth emphasizing that companies have been selected that already promote Greece as a destination and wish to include other Greek destinations in their programs, but also companies that will strategically include Greece in the destinations they promote and they are ripe to support it.

Applications for the Hosted Buyers will be acceptable only from Outbound Tour Operators / Travel Agencies / P.C.O.’s. They will get one of the following statuses:

Full Hosted Buyer status

Includes:

• Air ticket cost
• Accommodation (3 nights)
• Transportation to and from Expo
• Coffee and lunch in the 2 day’s workshop
• Tours (if extra nights, they are to be settled by the buyers)
• B2B Meetings with the exhibitors in the B2B Meetings Area
• B2B Meetings Area with a table per buyer and Wi-Fi
• Analytical Appointments Schedule

Semi Hosted Buyer status

Includes:

• Accommodation (3 nights)
• Transportation to and from Expo
• Coffee and lunch in the 2 day’s workshop
• Tours (if extra nights, they are to be settled by the buyers)
• B2B Meetings with the exhibitors in the B2B Meetings Area
• B2B Meetings Area with a table per buyer and Wi-Fi
• Analytical Appointments Schedule
